On September 23, the theme seminar “Global FinTech Hub Network-Al: Shaping the Future of Finance” was successfully held in London, UK.
The event was co-hosted by the Beijing Frontier Institute of Regulation and Supervision Technology (FIRST), Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS), and the China-Britain Artificial Intelligence Association (CBAIA).
Ben Shenglin, President of FIRST, delivered a speech themed “Connecting the AI World and Shaping the Future of Finance”. Various experts and scholars attended the event and shared their insights, including Chris Ling, Chief Executive Officer of Logtec Innovation Limited; James Stewart, Founder and Managing Partner of Menlo Partners LLP; David Stillwell, Professor of Computational Social Science at Cambridge Judge Business School; John Orchard, Chief Executive Officer of Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF); Julian Jacobs, Senior Economist at OMFIF; and Peter Latham, Professor of Theoretical Neuroscience at the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, University College London. They conducted an in-depth discussion on the opportunities and challenges brought by AI to various fields such as finance, technology, and social life.
