Ms. Alexia Latortue, Secretary-General of Future of Development Cooperation Coalition (FDCC), FDCC Commissioners and President of FIRST, Professor Ben Shenglin, attended the consultation. The consultation brought together more than 30 distinguished guests from academia, financial institutions, and real-economy sectors. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions and shared insights on key topics, including China’s development experience and global development cooperation, the green transition and industrial policies, and fintech and digital innovation. They jointly explored new approaches to advancing global sustainable development and international collaboration.

During the visit to the AIIB, the delegation of Professor Ben Shenglin co-hosted a special exchange session. Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles, Vice President, and Erik Berglöf, Chief Economist of AIIB, were present at the meeting. Over 60 representatives from United Nations agencies, the World Bank, embassies of various countries in China, and leading think tanks attended the session. All parties engaged in practical discussions on international development cooperation and the development of multilateral mechanisms.
