On January 3, 2025, the 2nd Overseas Chinese Youth Development Conference, themed "Empowering New Productive Forces, Launching High-Quality Development," was held at China World Hotel Beijing. The conference was jointly organized by the Beijing Frontier Institute of Regulation and Supervision Technology (hereinafter referred to as "FIRST"), the Chaozhou Overseas Chinese Youth Association, and the Beijing Chaozhou Chamber of Commerce Youth Committee. The event was co-hosted by the Chaozhou Overseas Chinese Youth Cultural Development Center, the Economic Development Research Center for Overseas Chinese Youth, and the Beijing Chaozhou PhD Group, along with the Global Chao People Innovation Economic Promotion Association. During the conference, FIRST established the Economic Development Research Center for Overseas Chinese Youth and released the Report on the Development of International Overseas Chinese Youth 2024.
