Amid deep adjustments in the global industrial landscape, Chinese private enterprises are taking a more proactive role in global value chains and strengthening supply chain resilience. Since its first overseas venture in Vietnam in 2008, Hailiang has grown over two decades into a global leader in copper processing, building a multi-continent supply chain network serving nearly 130 countries and emerging as a model of private enterprise internationalization. The 21st CCM Monthly Issue uses Hailiang as a case study to explore the core logic and practical pathways behind high-quality global growth of Chinese private manufacturing firms.
